Default BigChief468 wins NSS at Beaver Springs.

Richard Barnheart called and said he outlasted 51 NSS cars to win !!!!!!
Didn't give any details as he was at work. Beaver should have results up soon.
Congrats to Richard on beating up on all makes for win !!!!!

Congrats. Any details on his car. What is it, ET and all that.
The "Super Stock" book HO Racing was selling in the 80s was my introduction oh how to build a Pontiac the right way.

Congrats Richard! I remember your car from the track in Albuquerque. Had a 428 with RAIV heads and a Doug Nash tunnel ram at the time IIRC. Ran good even back then!

Talking Beaver Springs NSS class

The fastest the car went all weekend was 9.15 @ 147 MPH. Was dialed in at 9.20 because of heat and traction and wanted a little cushion. Final run had to push it to the limit and ran 9.201 and lost a little on the light. Many people came by the trailer thinking it was a big chebby. Mine is a 66 2 door post coupe with original red paint that many people wanted to know who did my paint job. KRE 505 dual 4bbls with T400. There were other Pontiacs. Don't know how many there was. I was the 3rd fastest car in the 51 car field. The #1 and #2 cars were Hemi Challengers and both had ~ 604 CI and the 8.80 car weights were 400 lbs less than mine and the # 2 car (8.95) was 200 lbs. less than mine. Great race and great event to go to. I go every year.

Talking Norwalk bound

Yes Tom, I will be there in the HU class, since I don't have the right car to run in the NSS group in Norwalk. I would not run with the NSS group even if I was ask. I love the HU class. One of these days and I will win that class. Great people who run in that class.

What kind of intake is on that car? They allow a 505 with duel 4s and HPs in SS? I say cool.
