Unless CA & AZ DOT formally officially announce a closer alternate route - if any one is traveling the I-10 between Los Angeles, CA and Phoenix, AZ or vice-versa ... Normally you would go this way @ http://mapq.st/1OiMEWJ It is better to take either of these routes ... @ http://mapq.st/1GxjZHI @ http://mapq.st/1IfooVk Since everyone (including heavy trucks) will be looking for a short cut when they hit the detour signs along I-10 .... You are looking at long delays if there are any shortcuts open .... ![]() Jim
