1969 FB Auto Trans Shifter Boot
Hey Guys... I need to replace my shifter cable boot for my 69 FB and can't seem to locate a replacement. Does anyone know where to find one in? When you order the replacement 68-69 cable, it comes with the 68 style and that will not work. Thanks... Mike

Which one do you need. The boot that blocks exhaust gas from entering the interior where the cable goes through the floor pan or the one that protects the cable from dirt/grime where the cable connects to the transmission shift lever?

Hmm.. the parts books say that 68-69 fb th400 floor shift cable boot is the same part number 9793261.
Here's a picture of a spare one I have. If you want it, PM me your address and it's yours.

Hi Rob. Last time we spoke, you sent me a spare shifter cable seal for our FB's. I just wanted to let you know that Metro-Moulded Parts is now making them. I just approved the sample they sent to me last night and it looks great..! Just think... you and I are the reason why this is now available... Thanks again... Mike
