Default Correct color/detail for grilles, 72' LeMans non T41

I got a call from my father earlier today asking me this question. I searched images, and I am thinking argent silver border with black accents on the fins?

He cleaned them up today, and said it looks like someone rattle-canned them black. The black paint is peeling, revealing silver underneath. I will get a picture when I get over there tomorrow.

Yeah, the argent silver works perfect, I have a set of N.O.S. grilles if you want a picture?
