Default An XF coded rear end in an A Body?

Finally have this thing up on the lift and getting everything written down. Surprise, its not an M20, but a 1979 vintage Super T-10.

The rear end is interesting though. The rear end is coded XF, which is a 68 Firebird code for 3.23's, I cannot find any evidence of the A Body perches being welded, I haven't pulled the cover yet, but mid to low 3's seems right.
