Default Aluminum Hurst Wheel Trim Rings

A friend has a set and wants to know if they were ever polished when new or a dull finish. I have never seen polished.

I've only seen bright chromed trim rings for Hurst wheels, but I seem to recall reading that satin finish was available at some point. Wouldn't surprise me given that there were so many variations.

I'm not aware of any steel Hurst wheels and/or trim rings.
However the last ad shown below describes two styles of trim ring finishes, \
this may be what he has?
