And what's up with the slimy underside and engine compartment? Did they use baby oil for detailing it?

that slime is clear..an old used car lot trick...and everything under the hood is painted with it...its monotone on the black and looks horrible....is usually laquer thinned way down

wait til it turns brown and cracks..and no matter what ya do it wont come off..its a terrible thing to do to a resto...all the detail goes away
