Default How was fall weather where your at?

Not you southerner guys

Was one the nicest warmest can remember last 10 years here just south of Lake Michigan.
10-15 degrees above normal. 60's and even 71-72 a few times.
Only had frost 3-4 times so far.
Know that's changing this weekend. High teens/low 30's with 100% chance of snow.

It has been really wet with above average temperatures up here in northern Wisconsin, until today. This past Sunday was sunny and 65 degrees. All week has been rainy with temps in the lower 50's until a cold front moved in last night. Winter blew in today with below freezing temps, steady 30 mph winds, and blowing snow. The 10 day forecast is still showing slightly higher than normal temps, but nothing like we have been seeing so far this month.

Not bad in Southern Il. either. Nice enough to put 65 miles on the Blue 1 today.

Extremely mild, which has been a Godsend for me (moving and renovating simultaneously). Heck, I am pouring 12 yards of concrete for a garage tomorrow to take full advantage. The weirdest part here is that every species of tree dropped all of their leaves over a period of about 5-7 days. That never happens. Typically beeches and white oaks still have leaves on them when there is snow on the ground in January-Feb.

Best I can remember in the thumb of Mi. Set a temp. record a few weeks back. The tree colors were really short this year. Not good for the deer hunters. Still have some plants with flowers. Weird

In the last month me and the wife have put 1000 miles on the Lemans.Weekend cruising up north and back day trips.Love this weather!I hate driving at night so weekends are our time to drive the car.Until the salt hits the road we plan on more driving.Hopefully the snow on its way wont be enough for the salt trucks to roll out.

Very mild in Minneapolis, until finally today - it only got up to about 34 degrees F and there was scattered snow flurries. Even so, that's pretty typical for this time of year so it's no big deal.

The amazing thing was from Labor Day until this last week, pretty much every single weekend was especially nice...it would cool down and/or rain mid-week, but every Saturday and Sunday would be sunny and warm.

Thumbs up Grrreat!!!

here in Central Ohio...similar to yours. Been riding the Harley pretty regularly...first time in years I've been able to ride in November. Just mowed the grass again the other day...looks like a golf course in May! Don't recall it being this green this late...ever. Not a bad place to live...all things considered. GTO just got tucked away today but I have the Avalanche and the Jeep Wrangler...so I don't see myself snowbound or anything. I've worked outdoors in Ohio for most of my life so I know to dress for it. Actually don't mind winter except for what it does to my arthritis. It is what it is.

Warm and rainy. They said that this is going to be a winter to remember.

Took off from work a little early on Monday to go out cruisin' with the top down on the Lemans. It was that nice!
Planning on getting some runs in at Englishtown this Sunday.
Hope it stays decent until Christmas- I've still got to get a foundation in the ground for work.

I'm in Niles MI. which is as far as you can get in southwestern MI. before you go into IN. I'm right on the line. It's been nice for the last coupe of weeks & today it got a bit colder. It was down in the low 30's & Sat. were suppose to get 5-8 inches of snow , but were going to get 3-5 inches on Fri. of cold wet snow & that will make the other stuff stick. Winter is here & I still haven't got my wood yet to heat the house. My guy hasn't delivered any yet. It make me wince every time the heat kicks on. Plus the wood is so much warmer then the gas heat.

Ive been stationed at Ft Drum in upstate NY. Notoriously long cold winters. Im here until December, and have been begging for snow so I could get some skiiing in before I return to So Cal. All the locals are thrilled at this mild weather. But Im upset about it lol.

Apparently this time last year there was feet of snow on the ground here. Barely a flurry this year.

was in the mid teens the other night but has been in 50's and 60's alot more than expected. That said, my NASA buddy says the jet stream has started to change for winter and to expect a mess, and more cold due to low solar flare activity. He expects the Great lakes will "freeze over solid" Again this winter ( would make 3 years in a row if it happens)
I imagine the Weather people will have more fun with "polar vortex" again.. hehe

Sounds like everyone enjoying El Nino.

Forgot about the leaves. They where down fast.
But its been dry here, then had a some very windy days a week apart.
Only had to mulch twice vs 4-5 times.

Got out old(think its at 1995) 8HP 2stage snow blower.
Starts and runs great, but drip'n fuel out of float bowl.
And forgot to replace the skid steer cables that finally stretched to far end of last season.
Wife asked other night if it would be ready this weekend.
"Ahh...no...need to order and replace cables and fix fuel leak"
She said quit mess'n with it. You messed with it more then you used it last year. Go buy a new one!
I said "ok", like I was disappointed
Then went out side and
