An electric pump to draw a vacuum, maybe to test distributors or other vacuum operated automotive components such as vacuum dashpots used in a/c systems.

Didnt see any fittings on this but Ill take a guess with an evacuation pump for an AC system. Does it have those type of fittings?

No a/c type fittings, just a vacuum hose fitting. Going to plug it in and see what happens.
