Default 65warrior No good at follow through on buying

I had a set of pistons for sale & after a few messages back & forth & after lowering the price so it would make it better for 65warrior to make the purchase , & now after 2 weeks a several messages to him/her I now have lost the 2nd buyer because of the deal with 65warrior I have now in all reality lost 2 sales for the pistons. I feel I have been wronged by this person, because he didn't even have the maturity to at least PM me & let me know he had changed his mind. I like everyone else on here thats selling any thing feel I've lost the sale by him/her playing around. I want everyone know that if your dealing with this person if your selling something not to expect to get paid because I think his eyes are bigger then his check book. Don't get your hopes up for a sale for this person as he is & was not reliable to me.

Not trying to stir the pot but I just wanted to say in my dealings with 65Warrior he was really great.. Everything was as good or better than he told me, worked on the price and his son helped get the engine on my stand and loaded in my car as I am disabled. I would be willing to bet it was more of a communication problem than any deliberate attempt to back out of a deal. Good luck selling your pistons, hope you find a buyer soon.

i thought i was buying 65warrior's edelbrock heads that were listed in the race parts section of this forum.

i'm away from home for work, my bank isn't anywhere near me, and he wanted a M/O for payment method, which is understandable. I can only get $xxxxx per day from the ATM so i said if you sell them before i get the money out that's cool, just let me know.

a few days later he says he's coming practically right past my house and said he could drop them off. that was awesome, except i'm not home. so i mapquested it and, from work, i'm 2.5-3 hrs away from him.

i asked if he'd could meet me in a town about half hour south of him later in the week or on the weekend. i said i would leave work a few hours early and meet him in the evening. he said saturday was good for him, and to let him know for sure on friday.

he pm's me friday around 4pm and asks if i still wanted the heads. i replied as soon as i could, which was about 5:30pm, saying yes, and asking for his # so we could arrange meeting time and place.

never heard from him again. so i pm'd him about 4pm today asking him to text me if he wanted to sell the heads. few minutes later he posted "sold" in his for sale thread. didn't say jack to me.

i'm not real mad about it, but i feel it's pretty sleazy for him to sell them after we agreed on a pickup day. it wouldn't have taken any time for him to pm me and say he had someone else interested in them.

he might be the greatest person in the world, i don't know??? i do know i would think twice before buying anything from him.
