Default timing gears

Do all cam and crank gears have the same number of teeth?

I was comparing the timing marks on the geardrive I took out to a stock set I just bought and the geardrive has more teeth.

The set I bought is an SA brand and the cam gear mark seems to be off almost one tooth. It is 3 teeth off compared to the geardrive.

In a two gear drive set up ( no idler gear ) what matters is that the crank gear has half the number of teeth of the Cam gear.
