Default 1966 post sash channel weatherstrip

I recently bought part number F238f for the driver's side of my '66 post coupe, for the door channel. However, it doesn't look like the piece I had bought who knows how many years ago that, unfortunately, I don't remember where I got it. The F238F piece is on the left, the unknown previous piece is on the right. Has anyone else used the Ame's piece successfully? It looks like the fit would be much tighter...

Also, any tips if you have to replace the window rollers?

Just got done doing my doors using Ames weatherstripping, all fit well.

I pie cut the top corner for fit, no issues. My car is not a concurs 100% build, it's a drag car so originality was not a concern.

Good luck with your build.

My window rollers were in good shape, can't help you there.

Yeah, I just slapped some pieces in there for the pic. The passenger side I completed actually is cut correctly. Thanks for the info on the Ames weatherstripping. I'll give it a shot & see how things fit.

I'll tell you though... I'm pretty worried about figuring out a good solution for those rollers!

Maybe You got the weatherstrip for 68-72?
Ames part F238FC instead of F238F?

The invoice said F238F, but I don't know what F238FC looks like to know if they shipped the wrong one, unfortunately. I tell ya', redoing the weatherstripping and trim has been more work than I had thought it would be...
