Default Chromebook Help Needed

I bought a Chromebook several months back. I really like it. It does(did) everything I need to do on a computer.

Was in the middle of posting some racing info last night, when I tried to post, it said I was not connected to the internet. We use a Verizon Hotspot. The signal was just fine to run TJ's iMac Desktop. But, try as I might, I could not connect to any site online. But, it shows to be connected to the hotspot.

I gave up last night. Thought maybe it would work today. NOPE. So, I drug out my old HP laptop. It's slow. But, it hooked right up to the internet and will go to any site I choose. TJ's iMac is workin fine. My old HP is workin fine. But the Chromebook says "There is no internet connection. Your computer is offline".

But, when I click on the batt image, at the lower right hand corner of the screen, a small menu pops up. One line of that menu says I'm connected to the Verizon hotspot.

So, I got a problem, and not a clue what to do about it.

Can some of you computer savvy guys help me, please ?

Decided to turn it off and try to restart one more time, before i quit for the night.

And, this time, it hooked right up and is working perfectly. So, why did TJ's iMac & my HP work and the Chromebook wouldn't ? I have absolutely no idea.

I'll just call it a hiccup, and forget about it, if it keeps working OK.

In the old days, that was the answer 90% of the time. The proverbial 3 finger salute(Ctrl-Alt-Del).
