I've added a first gen firebird transfer decal to my online store. Comes in a large 12×10 or Small 4×3
First Generation Firebird Logo Transfer stickers are cut-out of single color vinyl and are transferred to the desired surface via transfer tape. The custom transfer stickers are weather resistant and can be used for both indoor and outdoor application. You can transfer the logo with or without the Firebird text. Large - 17.00 or Small - 5.00 plus Shipping http://www.firebird400ho.com/product...sfer-stickers/

Hmmmmm. Maybe sized right, that bird would look good on the window where the etched glass bird would be?

Harold,
Can you explain what you mean by transfer tape? This looks to me like it's on the clear vinyl film that can be pasted and re-pasted to glass. Again, not sure if that is what it is, but I love it and will likely buy one or more. Would look good on a window in my man cave! OJ |

Transfer means it has paper on both sides. You take the sticky side off first then apply it to your glass or what ever. Then after you smooth it out you remove the paper on the front.
Hope that explains it well enough.

You would not be able to put on and off and back on. That is more of a static cling decal. This is permanent and it would be distroyed removing it.

So do I understand correctly that the adhesive is on the back side and not on the front? So I would paste it on the outside of the glass on vehicle? Sorry for what may be a stupid question, but I want to make sure I know what I'm getting.

Just an idea....maybe have it stick "inside" so its protected. It looks sharp.

All of these type decals are made for out side. You see these type of decals all the time on back of cars. Like those little stick family's you see on the back of car windows.
A lot of people put it on the back window like in my first picture. Usually Your defrost elements are inside on the back window and I would not want to stick on them. Also most windows are tinted and that would not allow the real color to show.

I just designed the bird glass decal. It is size 1.5x1.125" I am also having it reversed so that it can be place on the inside glass rather then outside.

Thanks! I am not sure on the measurement on the placement. I have never see any in person actually. We will have to try and find that out.

SB07,
Just ordered mine. This is a great idea. Someone should have done it ages ago. My car had the bird glass originally but the driver's door glass had been broken at one time. There were bits of glass in the door bottom when I took it apart. It had been replaced way back when, with non-bird glass. It always bothered me that my windows didn't match. During the resto process I searched high & low but couldn't find a decent driver's side glass that wasn't priced to the moon. I thought way back then that if someone made a transfer decal to stick to the inside of the glass, I'd be the happiest guy in town. I'll post a pic when it's installed. Greg |

I got the reversed bird glass decals in lastnight. I will ship them out this weekend for those who purchased them. This will be attached to the inside of the glass to look correct from outside.
I also got some 1.94" circle First Generation Firebird decal that is perfect for new chrome trailer EZ hub caps.
