I run un sprung chome moly bars. They have enough flex. Don't need a spring on them.

My buddy I race with had unsprung bars on his car. They would hit hard enough that it would unload the tires, and broke a couple ring gears. He went sprung and really likes them alot better. What Jack said, a good pair of shocks and front end limiters will control most wheelies.

I bought and mounted bars with springs, but decided to replace the springs with solid tubes. I was concerned if I left the springs in, the bars would hit the body. So far, the bars are working fine and I don't show any wheel unloading with the Racepak.

Jack is talking about front shocks not the rears. I put Afcos on the front of mine and it made a big difference over the QA1's that were on there. The limiters are basically a long bolt through the upper a-arm with a plate under it that will limit the amount of front end travel. You can adjust the amount the a-arm drops before it wants to pick up the front tires. The less travel the more it kills the wheelies. Same principle as tightening up the front shocks.

What is the rear suspension? Ladder bar, 4link?
