Default Not racing, snapped an axle.

Wife was driving. Guess I can forget about adding a turbo to it.

It's all in the suspension. Get out your checkbook, it's time for some billet aluminum and carbon fiber goodies.

Hmm.

Tell me more about this "wife on the mower" concept of which you speak...

Moser, not mower, is the axle company? DOH.

Have 3+ mowable acres. She likes doing it more than I do. Really need to look into a zero-turn unit.

That's a great looking GSD in your avatar pic by the way. Zero turn is the way to go for that many acres. Spend the cash up front and do all the maintenance and they last a long time. I can't think of the brand but one of my Army buddies has one that is stainless steel and cost a bunch of cash up front but it has a great rep for durability. I will have to see if I can find out what brand it is.

Sounds like a Dixie Chopper. I mow about 3 acres around my house, and I use a Grasshopper 61 inch cut, With a normal rider it took me 6-7 hours to mow, with a zero turn Grasshopper, is only take 2 hrs. Plus my wife also does most of the mowing.

That's it, i was think it was Outlaw Chopper for some reason. I know they are a good bit more expensive than others but I have a lot of good thins about them.

The last time my wife mowed I lost three trees. One was a small blue spruce. She backed over it. Nothing left but a nub. I think she was getting me back for doing the laundry. I washed two of her dry clean only sweaters and turned a load of whites pink. She has never asked me to help again and I will never ask her to do yard work. Makes for a happy marriage..

Maybe she wasn't racing, but she must have been practicing her launch or doing a test & tune! I didn't see any other damage, so apparently she got out of the throttle quick enough to keep it straight and not into the house or on it's top!

I'm a Hustler dealer in Detroit . Not worth fixing your transaxle in my opinion. Check out your local Lowes or Hustler dealer. You can by this 42" beauty that is a true ZTR with a welded deck and Kawasaki or Kohler engine for $2576.00. If you are a veteran and go through Lowes, you will get additional money off. We sold lots of these, good units!

One Question. Do they track in a straight line when you let go of one of the Joy sticks? If they don't and i had to stop every time i wanted a sip of beer, i would think it would negate any time advantage.

You need one of those helmets that hold two cans and have a drinking tube.
