Hey Guys,
I'm looking for an engine dyno, preferably near the Quad Cities. I know that there are none in the Quad Cities but I am willing to travel to where I have to. Preferably the closer the better, say Chicago, St Louis, or Des Moines.
I'm looking for your experience with a good dyno man, things I need to know, things to take with and prices. Gonna have my motor ready soon and would like to get a good tune on it. Thanks

Check with Bob Siegworth at Iowa Speed and Supply at Otter Creek, Iowa...563-686-4201. Bob has a great Dyno room and experience with high performance engines. He did an engine for me and I got to help with the Dyno session. Small personal shop that is super clean. Tell him Jerry Bolton sent you!

There is also one in Iowa City - Dynomike Power Tuning, owner is in our car club. Mike is a good guy but you will need to talk to him about what you need to have done.

I won a free hour on the dyno at the local cruise-in so we put my '56 Pontiac wagon on the dyno. Restored car, we tried to tune out some carb issues (ended up replacing the carb the following year) as well as figure out how far off my speedometer was (about 15%).
