Default Front clip 1968 GTO

Putting my fenders inner/ outer and bumper back on today . I installed the inner Bumpers on the outer ones first and got the fender in place. Looks like core support on driver side need to come forward but think I know how to adjust off frame bolts. Just want to know should I do all adjustment/ shims on fenders before moving on to endura ? Thanks doing

When I did my car I started by aligning the fenders to the doors, then the hood to fenders, then I did the endura bumper then bolted on the lower valence.

Hope this helps,
Alex

Same as NAR. Do note that having the car up on jack stands will throw the endura way off. Try doing all bumper adjustment with car on the ground.

Alignment has an important sequence:

1/4 glass, doors trailing edge-Quarters leading edge, then door glass.

Fenders trailing edge to leading door edge.

install Rad Support loosely, then square hood to fenders, and set hood trailing edge to Fenders teailing edge (with stainless in place). tighten Rad Support.

NOW, you get to install the front bumper, set Hood bump stop heights on Rad Support, then tighten bumper.

Valence panel install. Modify valance mount holes for best fit to Fender leading edges.

Especially the last point, the valance controls the fit of the fenders to the outer ends of the Endura, if necessary enlarge the the valance to rad support holes to give you extra left to right wiggle room.

There should be no shims on the upper rad support to fenders, if you need to tweak here shim the rad support to frame bolts or tweak the frame if necessary

Good luck, can sometimes be a real challenge, if it doesn't go great take a breather and think logically and work back to front like 1/2" describes.

Can someone post a pic of where these brackets go? I know they go on the bottom front of the fenders, but not positive exactly where. I have one for each side.

Thanks!
