Occasionally. The only blend I can't "hack" is the fermented stuff my nephew smokes.

I will always remember my grandpa with a pipe full of Captain Black.

I had smoked cigarettes for about 34 years and switched to a pipe in about 1991 when I worked at Arco Materials in Prudhoe Bay. My supervisor didn't like the smell of cigarettes and when they made the no smoking rule in buildings, she told me that I could smoke at the back of the warehouse if I was working inside. I smoke either of two mixtures that have no preservatives. One is called Black Vanilla and the other is called Point Barrow. At a tobacco shop in Anchorage there was an article taped to the cash register stating that the Surgeon General says that pipe smokers do not get lung cancer, and so far, I'm living proof.

Captain Black, white, blue, or gold pouch. Not the red.
Favorites are Mango Tango, or Anniversary, from the Tinder Box, smoked in a vintage Dr. Grabow.

My grandfather smoked a pipe. Back then it was Prince Albert in a can. I smoked a pipe when I was in my mid 20s. Gave it up when I started driving tractor/trailers.... it was a PITA to light the dam thing while I was driving.
I've been thinking of going back to a pipe. I've been smoking cigars that have pipe tobacco in them and they smell so good......

My wife's Grampa smoked Prince Albert tobacco, never saw him without his pipe, and a pouch of Prince Albert.
Del was the kind of guy who was always happy, smiling, never let things bother him. I tried some Prince Albert once, I found out why Grampa was always happy. Talk about getting a buzz!! WOW! I went back to Captain Black.....
