Hi guys. What are you using for fuel pumps. Looking for 150-160gph. I currently have a Holley HP150. I street drive it so it may see 1.5 hours of street driving at a time. Noise is also another consideration. The HP150 has been enough pump and it's not too loud. But it failed and I'm looking for options.

I like Product Engineering due to the fact they are rated continuous duty for the street. Kinda pricey, but get what you pay for.

We just did Dragweek with the wife's car. We have a Mallory 140 pump with a return style regulator. Worked great, it's quiet, and affordable. Set pressure at 6.5 lbs and it never bounced, fluctuated at all.

Thanks guys. I have been running the HP150 for a long time. I'm not dissatisfied with the pump. But we had one finally fail this week and am wondering what are some options. Are the Mallory pumps easy to repair?

I don't like Mallory anything, but I had a 140 dead headed with NOS on a big block Chevy putting out about 550 horse before the NOS and it never gave a stitch of trouble. It worked flawlessly.

I've been running a Mallory 140 for 10 years or more. I had to put brushes in it once after running it for a couple years on a deadhead regulator. I switched over to a bypass regulator and haven't had any problems with it since. Hundreds of passes and thousands of miles including 3 Drag Weeks.

Quote:
Take the extra time and a few extra bucks and go to a return style setup if you drive the car on the street at all.
