Smile Best way to remove Radio 69 Bird

Need ideas for radio removal. Changing AM to AM-FM orig Delco Radios.
Also what is the best dash speaker for an orig. AM-FM Unit? Thanks for your ideas in advance. All the Best, Frank69

We would need to know the RMS output of the factory unit to answer your question.

I'm also curious. I'm going to be swapping my original unit for one of the BT enabled aftermarket stock looking reproductions. I'm thinking about this dash speaker myself:

Also something else that might be relevant for you, my car has the AM/FM "Stereo" option 388 which I *believe* would have come with the rear speakers. When my cars new interior was installed by a previous owner, he just installed a blank above the package tray. So I'm going to need to re-create the factory "stereo" speaker setup for 69. MY factory package try looks like it is cut for 1 6x9 on the passenger side looking at it from the trunk.

Can anyone chime in and detail what that entails?

92GTA, I am also going to be installing a radio similar to yours and using a dual cone dash speaker. For the rear speakers, I have a mesh package tray with cutouts to hide the speakers which I have had for years with my old radio. Ames sells them in various colors. Here is the link.
