Default OK... How Cold Was It

where you are? This morning it was 13 degrees here in New Castle with a high of only 27. This is the lowest I've seen in the last couple of years. Global warming eh?

And to make it more fun. Saturday a high of 45 and Sunday a high of 59. Isn't life grand? LOL

I had -12 yesterday and -3 this morning. It is supposed to get up to 14 this afternoon and tomorrow with lots of snow in the forecast. Sunday is showing the snow tapering off, but lows at -14 and highs of -3.

April can't get here soon enough.

I think the Pacific stream is going to keep shoving storm after storm eastward thru NW and into WI Craig, we have seen thru fall here and has continued.... I feel a big snow year here. Mountains have a ton here already.

8F currently. With the 25-40mph winds we have we're at around -15F wind chill.

I fear you are right, Anthony. With the amount of rain we had this summer and the warm, wet, extended fall we had here again this year, I fear that a ton of snowfall will create some significant flooding this coming spring.

It was 68f here yesterday 71f the day before that. High today will only be 60f tho, talk about freezing!

...and just saying but it's the GLOBAL *average temp* that has risen slightly the past 3 years in a row. At my other residence this past summer was the 2nd hottest in a row ever on record there.

Crazy Yo-Yo weather around here. Stalled out in the high 20's with lot of moisture in the air, then peaked about 35 yesterday afternoon, before sliding down to 30 & Sleet & slick roads @ drive time, lot of wrecks. Front came through by 8:00 PM & it had warmed up into the 40's by 10 PM. Supposed to hit 60 today, then the bottom drop out omorrow, get down to single digits by late Sat night. Heading back outdoors, have couple hours left on an excavator, then several ricks of firewood to move.

We had lots of rain yesterday (thankfully) with a temp around 50 degrees. Today is sunny, drove the car and temps are around 60 now.

The dogs don't like it.

I suppose you are going to drive one of your cars too, huh?

This time of year I have to be content with sitting in my car and making engine noises with my mouth while I pretend to be driving, just like I did as a kid. The silver lining is that I can do it while holding a beer without fear of the law.
