Date codes D236 and D276. Unported, 1.77 exhaust valves, not sure of combustion chamber size, but my understanding is that they have only been milled for flatness so they should still be around 100. These heads were redone in 2002 or so and were on a running engine for a few hours until I discovered that the thrust bearing ate my crank. Even though they have very little time on them, I consider them cores because they have a few issues (below).
The good: very clean chambers, free of pits, larger exhaust valve, guides cut for positive seals, basically new exhaust valves and 988-16 springs. Springs installed at 1.6. The bad: (1) One of the exhaust manifold bolt holes was moved up slightly (see last photo). It will need to be recentered or the manifold bolt hole enlarged. (2) Two of the valve guides were poorly cut, such that the outer surfaces are rough. For one valve, I could not fit a viton seal over the guide and had to use one of those plain old black valve seals. (3) No studs or guide plates. I hope someone can use these. How about $80 plus the ride from 22207? If you're local maybe we can work something out to avoid shipping. |
