Soon to be non firebird friend, lol, hello Gto friend? I will miss driving that car, it's a real torque monster and of course keeping up to speed with you. I've had the pleasure off working, cleaning and having fun with Brewster and that car, cause it's one hell of a ride.

OK Brewster - please let the cat out of the bag;
Why are you selling? Have you already bought another toy?

wow, looks awesome and it's optioned exactly like most would order with the 4 speed and no A/C! I'm a bit biased but the color combo is hard to beat too!! Good luck on the sale Brew!

Correct! Im moving to another project that I found locally which is a 69 Judge convertible. It is limelight green with white interior and top. Yeap, an automatic for the old man since momma doesnt like the torque of this rebuilt bird.
Thanks for the nice comments above guys always hard letting go a car you love. Hope to find a good home which always makes it a little easier. I should have noted I am not interested in any trades due to I already found something to take this birds nesting spot. Cheers, Brew |

oh - nice!
(sorry I do miss ALOT of threads here ![]() your Formula definitely will make more torque, but (I say thig without actually knowing you, or what you have driven in) the torque difference isn't that great. 1971 ratings used to compare gross to gross hp & torque numbers: Quote:
From the couple times I ran my 'bird again'st my cousin's '71 TA, I would think it comes down to gearing, and driver... The best run we had, I had him off the line, but he caught me down the road; Me: close ratio Muncie with 3:55:1 Him: M40 with 3.07:1

I have a 12 bolt sporting a 3:73 in the car at the present time and its 10 bolt (late 71 date code) with the 3:42 that goes with car. The motor is pure stock drag ready from Dan Jensen running around 400HP at 520-525 ft lbs. It has plenty of torque with the stock rebuilt rock crusher leading its path. Cheers Jon
