Carter Q-jet Service Replacement Numbers?
Does anyone know where I can look up the 5 digit Carter Service Replacement part numbers by application?
For example: 6132S G2 I know the G2 is July of 1972 for the date, but where can I find the specific application for the 6132S? I have a few of these carbs & want to identify them properly. Kenth or carbking, you out there? |

I have been trying to record these and other odd service replacement carb numbers - that one isn't on my list as of yet.

and for the record, this would be a suitable shoe-in for pretty much any 1967-1970 (non-Californai) Rochester Quadrajet.

The one I listed was just one example. I am looking for a Carter book or listing that shows all of their 5 digit SR numbers & their respective applications.

Have you tried any Hollander Interchange manuals? I'm thinking their 39th through 45th Editions may be in the age range you'd find most useful.

I have not. Do you know if there are electronic versions available (online)? If not and that info is in them, I'd be happy to buy one.

6132S = 1967 400/428 (all) 4987S = 1970 400/455 (all) 6209S = 1971 400/455 (all) 6210S = 1971 400/455 (all) 4853S = 1968-1970 RA & 1971 455HO please quote, and correct my list - if anyone is able. Also, please share up other numbers

Hopefully, you can figure it out. The numbers to the left are the 4 digit Carter number less the letter S. Jon
