70 gto 10 bolt
Hi guys planning to swap my 10 bolt rear for a 12 bolt rear car is a turbo 400 will the driveshaft be the correct length?

Yes, however you'll need a 3R to 1310 conversion u-joint.

Is this true if you have a 12 bolt from a 70 GTO (as opposed to the more common Chevy sourced ones)?

No, not true, the original 12 bolts used in the '70 GTO's are direct bolt in, a have pinion flange that accepts 3R ujoint. Same deal with many other McKinnon built 68-72 12 bolts.
