Default Need a little help on getting plastic wrap off stainless trim

I've had my stainless refinished on my 67 and the plastic wrap he wrapped them in is stuck to the stainless. All my anodized parts came off it's just my stainless. I've tried goof off ammonia and bronze pads. Anyone got any suggestions? It's on my rocker moldings and window.

Acetone? It appears you may be blazing the trail here.
