Default Luhn Performance

Use caution when dealing with this company. Business ethics and quality are very questionable.
I purchased an oil pump from Luhn Performance and it failed but the way it was handled was the real issue for me just bad customer service. After the failure, I called to discuss the issue with Mark. He agreed with our diagnosis of the issue (he said, she said I know nothing in writing). He also agreed to refund my purchase price and even offered to help with the expenses. Since “stuff happens” I told him just the purchase price would be great. I returned the bad pump but failed to return it complete unknown to me at the time. The machine shop I use bagged the relief spring and Marks relief ball assembly separate from the pump to avoid further damage. After 30-days I had not received the refund so I sent a text inquiring about the return. After receiving my text and sitting on the return for 30 business days he replied that the relief spring and check ball assembly were missing. I was unaware of this until the reply.

I checked with the machine shop and they searched but could not find the parts. I sent Mark many texts asking how he would like to handle it and to please elaborate what exactly was missing. I received no response at all. After seven days of no communication from Mark/Luhn Performance my machine shop called me explaining that they had found what they believed to be the missing part and explained why it was not in the pump. I sent Mark an e-mail asking if he was still willing to refund the money I would ship the part. No response again. I arrived home that night on the eighth day from when I was informed about the missing parts so 38 days later to find a package from Luhn performance on my porch. Inside the box was the pump completely disassembled and missing parts that were shipped to Luhn. They failed to return the pickup tube, mounting bolts for the pickup tube and a spare pickup that was returned to Luhn performance in my original shipment. Since then numerous attempts have been made to just get the missing items returned to me with no success. So now I have an incomplete and useless high dollar pump. I am out the purchase price along with property that I paid good money for. Additionally, I have lost the cost of a complete engine tear down and new bearings due to his product. If you choose to do business with this company good luck. Don’t expect any support or any product quality. Check everything! Do yourself a favor and just stick with known parts suppliers/companies that work with their customers and have a proven track record!
