Anybody hear of or use www.validating.com?
I just got a text asking me to go to this site (www.validatingvin.com) and run a VIN from a TA that I have for sale. I typed in the website and it took me to www.vinchecked.com, Not sure if this is legit or not.
what do you think? I told them I would produce a clear title/registration and bill of sale. Never had a problem doing things this way. I have known previous owner for many years . Anyone used this site to check a VIN ? Thanks. [email protected]

I think it was a scam.
I called the number back and it went straight to a pre-recorded message. It was a female voice message and a male texting the message about checking vin. Beware of people sending links, as they may be virus related.
