Has anyone run across a console that looks good and fits good for a 65 GTO that has cup holders? I have a his/hers auto shifter I would like to adapt to a more user friendly console.

I saw I this forum someone got a extra console lid and put a couple holes and made a cup holder. You'll have to search for it

I would consider finding an after market insert,
Something that could be modified to fit right in and removable if needed. I would do this before cutting up a lid. One could get creative with a simple lockout on the lid when in the up position. JM2C

I purchased a pair of these last fall (there is a "right" and a "left" version).
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1 They work reasonably well and fit on the side of the console. They give you spot to put a beverage and a place to set your cell phone. ![]() Sorry, no photos yet of the unit in place in my GTO. Will be getting it out soon though... |

My wife bought this one at Walmart, she thinks. It's called the Spill Master. The cup holders are adjustable and has a strap that wraps around the console lid width ways, which allows you to keep the lid closed.
