Really, Really sorry to hear that news.
Larry Banks was (as you posted) a GREAT PERSON).

He brought a lot of knowledge to our 64-65 Forum.

Rest In Peace Larry. You were a real asset to Pontiac Guys when you were here.

Larry was a great friend and great Pontiac guy. Hadn't heard from him in quite some time and unfortunately, the next time you get some news, its bad news. Larry was not doing so well for the last several years. Don't think he ever fully recovered from major back surgery. That always kept him from enjoying his 65 Teal Turquoise 3 deuce 4 speed ragtop, but he was always willing to help someone else out if he could. Larry used to help me out wrenching on the GTO and would always "be right over" if he knew you needed help or if you were even working on a GTO! I know that he had lots of friends on this board and referred to everyone on here as such (well almost everyone).

Bill, I remember he was pretty exited to know you were going to be at the GTOAA convention and had me gets some pics! (Larry on the left) RIP Larry!

Had the pleasure of meeting Big Pop at a couple of conventions over the years and sharing many an email with him. We'll all miss you Larry. RIP friend.
