Have to move my car, wondering if anyone has experience with either E-Transport Carriers or J&S Transportation?
I tried following a couple recommendations from this forum, but they aren't available or don't work the right regions. I understand to try and stay away from the lowest-cost brokers, try to hire a carrier or at least go with a company that has their own equipment (even if they also broker)... but car is just a project, not high value so cost matters and I don't need closed transport. |

How far? The big auto auctions like Adesa and Manheim will haul from hub to hub.

I used Nations Auto Transport from Florida to Idaho and was happy. Enclosed trailer. Price should differ if to enclosed.

Years ago I used Blue Hiways Transport, door to door from LA to Missouri. Great communication, no problems whatsoever.

There are thousands of auto transport brokers and hundreds of car haulers. You get what you pay for - sometimes you don't like what you get. Jim

I couldn't be happier with my transport experience.
I went through Door to Door, one of the broker/transporters recommended on this site. They were great. Good communication, accommodated a change without a whimper, quoted reasonable. They arranged for a company in Idaho, Dearden Trucking, who could not have been better. The owner/driver was an incredibly nice car guy and didn't miss a beat on communication or schedule. He arrived with a new diesel pickup pulling a 3-car flatbed. My car ran out of gas as he was loading. He didn't whine a bit, just winched it on. |
