Different thread pitch tie rod sleeves
So this is a weird one and once again the Pontiac F Body curse rears it’s ugly head.
This weekend I set out to install my SC&C street Comp stage 2+ system. It contains SPC upper control arms, Howe tall ball joints and Howe tall tie rod ends. As with many things first gen F Body related, the manufacturers assume there’s no difference between the camaro and Firebird mechanically. Anybody who’s built a first gen bird can tell you otherwise. Anyhow sure enough an issue cropped up. The 69 v8 cars utilize 11/16 inner tie rods with a 11/16 thread pitch adjusting sleeve. The Howe tall tie rod ends, needed to correct bump steer use a 5/8” thread pitch. So far I’ve not been able to locate an adjusting sleeve in this configuration. So I’m asking the experts here. Some options I’m considering are welding two different sleeves together. Switching to camaro 5/8” inner tie rods etc. Any help here would be greatly appreciated!

I had to use different (2nd Gen Firebird) Tie Rod Ends with my Global West Suspension "Tall Spindle" set-up vs the stock 67-69 F-Bird and 64-72 GTO parts.

Unless there is a different bend between the Camaro and Firebird I'd convert so both are the same. The second gen some of the Firebird inner ends had a slight cant the Camaros did not. My 78 had Camaro like the 81 had a cant. The aftermarket AC Delco(and raybestos)both same bar code. have a cant but in a different spot than the factory!

Mine are canted for sure, which was kind of what I was worried about.
Right now I think I'm going to have my old man machine up an aluminum sleeve with 5/8 thread on one end and 11/16 thread on the other end. He's running parts in his 5 axis, so his cnc lathe is open.
