Default Revolution 2 post lift experience and/or reasonable opinions

I have been looking at these and other brands for quite a while and will pull the trigger before end of August. My must have's are: 10,000 lb. ALI certified, Asymetrical, full height lift (~72inches) and I have 12 ' 4 " ceiling height. A Genuine Rotary manufactured in Indiana is about $5,000 installed .....which is hard to justify for my hobbyist use. I can get a Revolution brand which is Chinese version of Rotary sold by Rotary (thru VSG which is owned by Dover) with the same specs installed for about $3,500 by a local Auto Equipment Dealer. Representative will be in my garage tomorrow taking some measurements and drilling a hole in concrete to determine if I have the minimum thickness that they feel safe to install. If you or someone you know has any experience with Revolution.....please comment. I will ask for local references from the dealer tomorrow.

Can't speak for Revolution, but this is what I was going to buy until I found a deal on a used lift nearby.

BTW, Installing a 2 post lift took a buddy & I about 3 hours. If you can read a tape measure, a level, and know how to run a drill, you can install one.

thanks for the suggestions Speargun.

I did look at gregsmith in my research.

hardest part of install is getting it off the trailer and into the garage!!!!

That is why they charge what they do.

I'm no lift expert, but a cowrker was jussst telling me how he's set on a 4-post lift. And he seems to know his 63 Corvettes.

Did you ever decide and get it installed? Any comments on quality?
