I have started shopping for a front and rear power disk conversion kit for my 67.
I am going back and forth between a 11" rotor, single piston caliber vs 13" rotor, 2 piston caliber on brake conversion. i will be running 18" wheels with a total dia. with tire at 26" so wheel dia. is not an issue with either. Also switching to a tubular control arms and coilover kit at same time. Any one have pro's and con's or suggest a different setup? Thanks

Here is a post I made back in 07. I went with 4 piston Wilwoods with 12.19 in rotors behind 17s.

My 15 inch wheels (Cragar) measured too tight to take a chance when I decided to do a brake upgrade, so I bit the bullet and went to 18 inch wheels to get better options for brakes. I decided to take advantage of the 18 inch wheels and instead of 11 inch rotors I went (Wilwood) four piston calipers, 12.19” rotors on rear and six piston calipers, 12.88” rotors on front. There would have been more than enough braking with the 11 inch rotors, but why not take advantage of the 18 inch wheels.

13" rotors will look a lot better behind 18" wheels.

Dual piston will bite much better than single piston. Add the larger rotors, it's a night and day difference. And the wheel/tire combo you have will be a little heaver, so you could use the extra braking power.
