Custom Crossmember w/Rack and Pinion
Just posting up some progress pics of a custom crossmember with a rack and pinion. I should be able to put at least 6 degress of caster in it and have zero bump steer. Still have to drop in the coilovers and send it off to powercoat. CHE Performance out of Girard, PA deserves all the credit for this. These guys are top notch fabricators. www.cheperformance.com

The quality of fabrication and welds appear to be excellent. On the 4th picture of 1st post that angle of the 2nd joint Is pretty severe. No concerns of bind or wear on that joint?

Hey Tom, hope all is well! This is AJ and Randy's buddy Alex. Ya, we triple checked for bind on that joint and its all good. It's a tight fit with the motor and headers, but it clears and feels good at the wheel. I'm hoping to have everything back from powdercoat and assembled by the end of the week. If anyone needs an original crossmember that is powdercoated and has all new parts, less spindles, let me know.

Front end is pretty much finished up. Time to get busy painting and wiring. Can't wait to get back to the track!
