Default ‘63 389 use different rear pan gasket??

Hi guys,
Doing a reseal on the 63 Bonneville.
I’m stumped, does the ‘63 389 oil pan use a thinner rear cork on the main cap?
If I use the standard cork seal, the pan sits too high.
Thoughts ?
