OK,you might not like what im going to tell you.I hope its a first gen bird as that is the ones that were made the most.I have owned a set and they went on my 69 T/A with the short deck V in it.They made 25 complete engines with exhaust and I think a few X tras.A set just changed hands for $4000.The last set of A bodies I know of that changed hands were John Glasco from this site. When we figured the brake down of the parts we valued the exhaust at 12-14K.George Delorian told me they never made less than 6 of anything to allow for core shift and bad machining.Take away first gen short decks with the diff design of V manifolds that could be about 24 sets if ALL castings were finished.I have been looking for about 22 years for a set of A bodies. There is a set of first gen short deck manifolds about 30 miles from me that I have not been able to buy.Let me know if you find 2 sets that I dont have to take a second on my house.Tom

Hard to imagine anybody turning over their manifolds to reproduce them.

John, there were a lot of short deck Gen 1 birds made. They can work on a std deck.I think maybe about 30-40 sets.I owned one, there is a set about 30 miles from me that I have not been able to get.Barry got the set I thought I had bought. They made 25 complete engines with them on them plus others. The A bodies maybe only a DZ sets made.Lance has a half set of each.Tom
