Default Easy way to install rear brake caliper emergency brake spring?

Anybody know of a easy way to install the rear Emergency brake spring that is mounted near the rear caliper? I have a 1979 Trans Am SE with 4 wheel disc.

Maybe compress the spring with zip ties (use your foot to compress then snug the zip ties up) then cut them when in position on the caliper. Other way is to find someone who can muscle them in by hand...

Couple ways I have installed them. 1. Needle nose vise grips. 2. small engine valve spring compressor https://www.amazon.com/Briggs-Stratt...80332295&psc=1

The bigger pain is getting the E brake cable through the spring.I just muscle the spring in.
