Correct rag joint for a 65
I'm sending out my power steering box to convert it to a fast ratio. While I'm at it I figure it would be a good idea to change the rag joint. Doing a search on Google brings up several brands with different part #'s. At this point I'm not sure which is the correct one. Does anybody know the correct good quality rag joint and part # for a 65 GTO with power steering?

Why not buy one from our host, Ames?

Actually, I was hoping for a good part # that I could cross reference to get the GM part #. Wanted to see if I could find a GM nos rag joint.

A NOS one would be 50 years old. Wouldn’t you prefer a fresh one from a reputable source? This is a case where NOS vs. repro favors repro by a wide margin.

I agree, a rag joint is an important piece for safety reasons. I'm not looking for a 50 yr old part. I would like to find a GM rag joint that was made recently, right before they stopped making them if possible. I know the GM rag joint would be a quality part. There are several aftermarket ones being made, I just don't know which ones are good
