Default Switching to LED Lights

These are the parking light change over to LEDs. Amber LED bulbs. Pilot brand. This is a big difference at night as you'll see in the 1st photo.
1157
Hopefully I'll have them for the rear this Friday.

Are you changing all the rear lights to LED's? You do know that you will have to change the flasher if you do. There is another way to do it but my old brain can't pull it upright now. It is something you install in line.

Yep, the rear lights will be next.... as soon as they come in.

I've come across 2 types of the flasher units. One I've already done a long time ago. Electronic flasher that I've had for years. New not used. I works so far with the LED 1157 amber parking bulbs. It's actually one used in a big truck, and will work fine in your GTO too.

Second is a 12v Flasher, W/ Polarity Reversing Adapter for LED conversions. Item number # C-2892-01A found in the NPD catalog.

I don't know if it's for a complete conversion or just using the LED "bulbs". As for having a Hazard flasher in your car you'd need 2 if the Hazard unit needs a flasher too. I have 2 units. One with and one without it's own flasher unit.

Third is from Sylvania. This must be what you are thinking of.

Click on the photos on the left to see how they connect. I assume one unit ($4.95) is needed for each LED bulb used. 2 up front and 6 in the rear.
