My son used them. He had to make a few minor tweaks. But otherwise, no issues. And they were pretty quick. Seemed helpful after the fact when he has questions. Car is a 79 TA. Running high 11’s and low 12’s in stock tire classes. No headers. Cast iron intake and exhaust manifolds. Did a 1.75 60’ at a FAST race in Indy last year with BFG Radial TA’s.

They recently bought 1400 Q-jets.

Probably have tons of good HP cores.

Mark is good and I helped him with parts and set-ups for many years before he recently went full time into the parts and rebuilding business. He's also easy going, honest and excellent customer service, all the things needed besides just having a skill set with this sort of thing. It also really helps to deal with someone who actually has a LLC, business license, and insured vs the "hobbyist" trying to supplement their day job. I've actually been sending him quite a bit of work in recent months since "downsizing" my business and not taking anything else in until everything already here is finished. His son is helping out and they don't have a long lead time currently. I just talked to him yesterday matter of fact. He still buys some parts from me that are not available elsewhere, and I help him if/when needed with setting up certain carb numbers for custom applications.......Cliff

He used to be quite active on the V8buick site. Probably not so much lately due to the monumental task of digesting 1000 plus carb cores into inventory. Have not heard anything negative about them.

On the other hand, have contacted some carb advertisers on Hemmings, and have been completely blown off.

Maybe the "best reference" I've ever seen on this forum. If Cliff is sending him carbs he must be good!

He lives about 40 minutes from me in the Texas Hill Country. After I lucked into the 70 GTO drive train that came out of Lance Armstrong's car when they did the episode of "Overhaulin", I had him rebuild that Q-Jet for my Trans Am.

I had been running a Jet Industries Stage 3 setup, which had been a huge improvement over the previous carb. Mark and his son took a carb that had never been off the car or out of a shed and made it look better than new, and function flawlessly. With no tuning, I took a half second off my previous best ET at San Antonio Raceway.

A little over a year ago, they got a big score of Q-Jets from a collector. Several thousand cores, some used and some experimental...lots of really rare stuff. I've had several friends send their carbs in to them, and everyone was really happy with what they got back. These are car people, and they drive and race what they work on. Highly recommended.
