Default Thermostat

I’m finding that the only thermostat that doesn’t have a raised outer edge that interferes with the housing is AC Delco. Is there an alternative? Can’t seem to walk into an auto parts store that stocks one. Getting ready to grind the edge off lol.
Thank you!

Stant Mr. Gasket. All of them if your thermostat isn’t fitting you are doing something wrong. The gasket goes under the thermostat.

Under? Never heard of that before. Thermostat sits in the indentation of the intake with gasket on top, tgen the housing.

How bout this one?

https://partcat.com/stant

Could it also be that the recession in that offy intake is more shallow than most?

I have used those in the past with a few drilled air bleed holes in the flat metal mounting lip. Stant SuperStat Thermostats 45358

Bought some stats from a PY member and going to try them this coming spring.

Thank you guys. I had the Stant already and ended up with the AC Delco, seemed to sit in the recess a bit better when tried them side by side. I’m sure either would work, tried one of those Motorads from Advanced, didn’t like It.
