So a week ago I started getting a bad vibration in the front end. The front right wheel was very hot so I replaced the caliper and the vibration went away. Now it is doing it again and the caliper was on fire. Can there be something wrong with ABS unit? I dont think it could be a master cylinder because you would think both front wheels would be HOT.

Did you change the brake hose? I had a similar problem with a truck and it was the hoses.

X 2 on the hose, but crack the bleeder loose to see if pressure is released before changing hose.
Have seen a ABS unit do this and it was just last week. So yes it can cause this as well. But hard to tell if hose or ABS unit. so change the hose first.

That Jeep has criss-cross braking. RR & LF are on the same circuit, LR & RF are the other circuit. So you have to bleed it accordingly. Also, I've run into Jeeps and other Chrysler products with ABS that require a scan tool to retract the caliper pistons. I won't have access to All Data until next week, so I'm not positive on the bleed process. A lot of cars require a bi-directional scan tool to bleed brakes.

I was thinking it could be the hose. I will replace it tonight and see if that fixes my problem.

If it is the hose (most likely) replace the other side also.
