Default Who is the member that works on vintage radios?

Title says it lol. I recall seeing a member that fixes vintage radios but I can’t remember who. FWIW, it would be for my Delco out of my 77 T/A. I think it’s actually a 75 or 76 radio.

Anyone remember who or have recommendations for a trustworthy source?

Jim Sheppard did a couple for me, and an 8 track for my 70 TA. He does great work and is a really good guy. I can't remember his handle here, but his email is/was [email protected].

Matt sells an adapter that adds an auxiliary input to the factory radio for connection to a separate music player. https://redirad.com Pete repairs shifters and some gauges. http://precisionpontiac.net They don't do radio repair.

Highly recommend Jim Sheppard too. Did a great job on my radio and good turn around time. Goes by j69shep here.

I actually have my radio and console 8 track player running through a small Bluetooth amp which drives 4 modern speakers. The radio just needs a bit of help to get it up to par. I recently began to have fm fall out randomly.

I repair vintage Delco radios as well as add the desirable one button bluetooth. 25 years experience repairing Delco radios and 8 track players. I just closed out a 39 year career as an analog EE at Motorola and all of its spinoffs. I do this now full-time from my home in Scottsdale AZ. My turnaround time is running 7-10 days. I have a good supply of Pontiac radios, A body, G-body and F body as well as the larger cars. I have serviced many radios for PY members and I am a Pontiac hobbyist as well. 71 Lucerne Blue LeMans conv. call or text me at 480-235-1964 to setup a repair .
Thanks, Jim

Oh good Jim you’re back. Care to respond to the numerous attempts I’ve made to contact you regarding the radio you worked on for me?
