Default Vice Grip Garage 67 GTO Resurection

On the latest VGG video Derek is working on a 67 GTO for a disabled Viet Nam vet that’s been sitting in a garage for 40 years. The vets’ son snuck the car out of storage and once it’s in running condition it will be driven 800 miles back to surprise the owner. Pretty cool story.
The car is all original and in super solid shape but hasn’t run in 40 years. I watched about 1/2 of it so far.

I watched the episode, it’s going to be an interesting project and I’ll bet it’ll be beautiful when it’s done.

It pains me to see those BFG tire sidewalls bubbled up when the blue soapy coating is still on the raised white letters! What a bummer.

I agree, Derek is the man! I posted this yesterday on the '66-'67 GTO forum. Probably should have stuck it over here. Good stuff for sure.
