How do you remove the power steering pulley with a woodruff key?
I have the pump out of the car and the nut off the threaded shaft. The pulley should just pull off, but it won’t budge..

Any tips for removal without damaging the pulley?

I would try PB Blaster and gentle use of a pulley puller

The pulley is also a .002" press fit on the pump shaft, so if I where you I would take it to a car or truck auto parts store that also makes up Hydro hoses and they can press it off for you without bending the pully.

x2, no need to "press" it off, rent the free little pulley puller from AZ etc & it will come off in about 1 minute including set up of the puller.

The one tool you don't want to use is something like a three jaw puller that contacts the outer edge of a stamped pulley. The circumference is very fragile and will warp immediately when any pull is applied. The correct puller fits on the inner slot on the front of the pulley and makes simple work of the removal.
