Bench seat stuck
71 T37, the adjustment lever to move the front bench seat seems to be stuck, can't move the seat. Nothing obstructing the seat etc. any tips for fixing this?

If you're referring to the seat tracks, you'll likely have to remove the seat so you can clean and lubricate the tracks.
May be able to unbolt it and lean it back for access?

Don't hold me to this but I think the release uses a wire between the two sides. Any chance it's as simple as the wire stretched or broke and is not releasing both slides?

Bench Seat
Confirmed, It does have a wire that connects the two tracks so that they can be released and moved forward/back at the same time. Paul

On my 64 I removed the glides and soaked them evaporust. Then worked then back and forth using a hammer and various methods before lubing them up. I had to replace the wire that ran across. I used some thin aircraft cable and crimps. Its been working great for over 10 years now.

Thing is, the lever is stuck/frozen so I can't move it to move the seat back and forth

Ran into this before with one of my prev GT-37 partscars. Ended up folding fwd & removing the front seat backs, then unbolted (took a while) the seat tracks from the floor & removed the lower front seat. Getting the rear bolts out of the floor is usually no fun. Once removed, I sprayed the tracks down real well with Kroil, and then pulled on the release lever while carefully beating on the drivers side track with a plastic (dead blow) hammer.
