Default 1963 Tempest front emblem (NOS) 548692

I managed to pick this one up quite by mistake some time ago. The box is a bit ragged, but the crest itself is quite nice, and includes the two nuts. The posts are nice and straight. The white paint has yellowed slightly with age.

$25 + $7 shipping

I'm on Long Island, in NY, but travel back and forth to my office in northern VA. I'll keep this with me and can ship from either location or will be available for pick up.

Default NOS tempest emblem

Hello Darren, here from Connecticut. I wish I saw this post a couple of weeks ago. I went to Long Island from the ferry in Bridgeport. Not that it would be a big deal to ship it anyways. Would you mind sending me a photograph of it so I could get an idea of how much yellowing happened over the years. I know never going to be perfect but probably close enough for me. 203-650-4188 is my cell phone. thank you very much.

Hey, Darren!

What was I thinking? :-D

Here are three pics of the emblem taken against a matte black background. I've set down a sheet of 84 brightness copy paper on the seocnd one, so you can get an idea of the whiteness on the emblem. If you're familiar with, say, convertible tops of the early 60's, "white" was sort of eggshell, and not bright white, as we would expect to see it today. That's about the eggshell of the white on this piece.
