My heater AC motor blower will not run when I place the control to heat or defrost and try to run the blower motor through the different speed settings. This just happened this weekend. My blower motor was working on all the speed settings except for high speed. I just hooked up the blower high speed harness (the one that goes from the 2 prong connector terminal to the positive post on the alternator). Now when I start the car sometimes even when the heater AC Heat Defrost slider is in OFF the blower motor will start on high speed. I have a resistor block and blower motor selector switch available to swap out and then see if it works. Some guidance on this would be appreciated. Note: There is no AC such as the compressor and associated equipment in the car currently except for the high speed harnass.

sounds like a short in the back of the control head.
